You’re here!

My name is Jordan Sanger and - cliche aside - I love my job.

There. I said it!

It only took one success story to get me hooked. My very first anxious client went from hiding in school bathroom stalls during lunch to getting a job at Target, all within one semester.

Teens are so gosh darn resilient, when we give them the opportunity.

The opportunity to try something new and process how it went. An opportunity to share their feelings - and be validated. It’s an opportunity for them to experience non-judgmental support when working through their personal challenges.

This is why I’m here.

This is why I love my job.

Aside from my therapy practice, I am also a trainer at EVO Athletics.

This is very much part-time and what I consider to be more of a joy versus a chore.

Most days, I am primarily sitting in a chair doing deep thought work with multiple clients.

Therefore, moving my body is my favorite way to take care of my mental health.

At EVO, I get to share my joy for strength training with others.

“Taking care of your mind, by taking care of your body.”

— Marsha Linehan

We can combine physical movement with therapy
to help accomplish our goal of emotion regulation.

Moving our bodies is SUCH a great way to naturally regulate our nervous system. When we exercise, we:

  • release all 4 brain chemicals — dopamine, oxytocin, serotonin, endorphins

  • practice a new skill

  • set meaningful goals..and achieve them!

  • move stuck emotions stored in the body

  • improve cognitive function and sleep

  • increase energy levels and focus

..and so much more!
